Qualifications:

• Valid Interprovincial Red Seal Electrician Certification, or ITA registered Apprentice
• Valid BC Drivers License
• Familiarity with reading electrical schematics and prints
• Strong Interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Must have basic hand tools and power drills
• Desire to learn
• Able to interpret drawings, scope and project specs
• Plan and execute electrical installations
• Commercial / Residential and light industrial work

Experience:

• Commercial Installation
• EMT and PVC Conduit Installation
• Lighting Control
• Installation of wiring devices
• Fire alarm systems
• Emergency lighting systems
• Familiarity with code
• Familiar with armored cable
• Customer service
• Installing fluorescent, incandescent and LED lighting

Position:

• Full time employment (40 hours per week)

Qualifications:

• Cass B gas ticket
• Valid BC drivers license
• 3-5 years experience in refrigeration
• 3-5 years experience in gas
• Commercial Kitchen Repair an asset
• Excellent customer skills; tactful with a professional appearance
• Proficient spoken and written in English
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• A team player able to work collaboratively with colleagues, suppliers and customers
• Basic hand tools and methods experience
• Awareness of packaged rooftop AC units, packaged DX AC split and multi-split systems
• Knowledge of the design and application of Mitsubishi, Daikin, LG and Samsung/Trane variable refrigerant flow/volume (VRF/VRV), multi-split systems
• Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities:

• Assemble and install refrigeration or air – conditioning components, such as motors, controls, gauges, valve, circulation pumps, condensers, humidifiers, evaporators and compressor using had and power tools.
• Install, troubleshoot and overhaul entire heating, ventilation, air handing, refrigeration and air conditioner systems.
• Start up systems and test for leaks using testing devices.
• Ability to take initiative and work independently when preforming all duties
• New and existing accounts -execute maintenance activities and stay current with applicable regulations.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance work and complete test and maintenance reports.
• Installing or retrofitting equipment as per specifications, customer requests, blueprints or the current building codes.
